BUFFALO — Twenty-eight Buffalo State student-athletes were honored at the college’s 60th annual Honors Convocation this afternoon in the campus’s Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall.
The program is held each spring to recognize the exceptional academic performance of students who have earned a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average after completing the requisite number of credit hours (45) at Buffalo State.
Kimberly Blessing, Ph.D., a professor of philosophy here at the college led the program’s address to those in attendance.
The convocation comes a little more than a week after the athletic department honored 103 student-athletes at its 20th Annual Scholar-Athlete Academic Luncheon that recognized student-athletes that earned a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher for at least 45 credit hours.
