FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Niagara Purple Eagles were swept by the Fairfield Stags on Sunday.

The No. 1 doubles team of Francis Nadeau and Felipe Fuentes edged Fairfield’s Anthony Caputo and Brad Orban, 7-6. The duo picked up its first conference win of the season. However, the Stags won in two and three doubles to clinch the point. The Stags won all six singles matches in straight sets.

The Purple Eagles will play at Rider on Friday and Wagner on Saturday.
