MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The Canisius men’s golf team returns to action Monday and Tuesday at the 2017 RMU Colonial Classic at the Montour Heights Country Club.
Canisius is one of nine teams in the field this year. This is the largest field for this event since 10 teams participated in the 2009 Colonial Classic. This will mark the first time Robert Morris has hosted this tournament since October 2013. Former Griff Drew Creighton posted the best two-round score in the invitational’s history, shooting a seven-under 137 in 2007. Creighton opened that year with a 65, which is tied for the best single round score with Chris King of Oakland in 2002.
