SYRACUSE — The Rochester Red Wings touched home plate repeatedly this afternoon, routing the Syracuse Chiefs 10-0 in their first game of the season. Their 12 hits included a grand slam by Ben Paulsen.
Jose Berrios allowed just three hits and a walk through six innings in the win.
It was the season opener for both teams, who meet again Sunday in a 1:05 p.m. doubleheader.
