BURNS — A 38-year-old Canaseraga man was charged Friday with a pair of felonies and six misdemeanors in relation to an incident on Thursday.

According to New York State Police, Jeremiah W. Krupp’s charges include felony first-degree attempted assault with intent to cause serious injury with a weapon and felony second-degree strangulation. He’s also charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree menacing with a weapon, third-degree assault with intent to cause physical injury, acting in a manner injuring a child less than 17, criminal mischief of preventing a request for emergency call, and torturing or injuring animals — all misdemeanors.

Krupp was processed at SP Amity and arraigned in Town of Burns Court before being remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
