The Canisius outdoor track program will take part in its second event of the season Sunday afternoon, when it travels to Rochester for the Naz/Roc City Classic.
The Griffs are coming off of an appearance at the Geneseo Invite last weekend, where junior Carlin Sullivan placed first in the women’s 800 meter event, finishing with a time of 2:21.16.
Sophomore Siobhan Quinn ran well, finishing third in the women’s 1500 event, while senior Brennan Root placed second in the event on the men’s side.
Track events for Sunday’s classic begin at 9:30 a.m. and can be followed at yentiming.com.
