BUFFALO — The University at Buffalo women’s soccer team announced their 2017 spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The schedule is highlighted by matches against Big 4 foes Canisius and St. Bonaventure.
The Bulls will open up their spring slate on Sunday, April 2 as they head to Olean to take on Big 4 rival St. Bonaventure at 1:00 pm. The Bulls will then return home to UB Stadium for their spring home opener as they welcome the Stoney Creek U17 club team to Buffalo for a game starting at 12:00 pm on Sunday, April 9.
On Wednesday, April 19 the Bulls will hit the road again for a match against cross-town foe Canisius at 8:30 pm at the Demske Sports Complex. UB will then return home for their fourth game of the spring on Sunday, April 23 as they welcome the University of Rochester YellowJackets to UB Stadium at 3:00 pm.
One more spring match may be added to the slate in the coming weeks.
Buffalo is coming off of a season in which they collected an overall record of 7-8-5 and a MAC mark of 4-4-3. The Bulls continued to dominate on their home turf as they notched a 7-0-3 record while advancing to the MAC Tournament for the third straight season under head coach Shawn Burke.
