BUFFALO —  Ross Eye Institute has announced the addition of distinguished ophthalmologic specialists Faruk M. Koreishi, M.D. and Andrew Reynolds, M.D.

Dr. Koreishi is a distinguished contributor to world health with more than 40 years of experience as an ophthalmologist.During his years in practice, Dr. Koreishi has helped thousands of individuals — from the neediest to the most prominent — maintain and improve their eyesight and has been recognized on numerous occasions. Among his awards are the 2014 Ross Eye Institute Community Ophthalmologist of the Year Award and the 2012 Physician of the Year Award from the Asian American Physicians Association.

Dr. Reynolds specializes in pediatric eye care with a focus on the treatment of pediatric cataracts and glaucoma. He also treats strabismus, or misalignment of the eye, in adults and children.Dr. Reynolds earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, graduating summa cum laude. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina Storm Eye Institute and his pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus fellowship with the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

Dr. Koreishi is now seeing patients at The Ross Eye Institute’s office in downtown Buffalo, located at 1176 Main Street in downtown Buffalo. Dr. Reynolds sees patients at The Ross Eye Institute locations at 3580 Sheridan Drive, Suite 150, in Amherst; at 301 Sterling Drive in Orchard Park; and at 1176 Main Street in downtown Buffalo.
