CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the Academic All-MAC Teams for the men’s and women’s indoor track and field season. Buffalo led the way for the men with 12 athletes named to the team. The women’s track and field team placed eighteen athletes on the Academic All-MAC team.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for the particular sport.

John McCarthy was the only athlete in the conference to register a perfect 4.0. He is a junior Biology major here at Buffalo.
