INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Two athletes from the University at Buffalo women’s swimming and diving team competed in multiple events at the 2017 NCAA Championships. Abbey Croce competed in the one- and three-meter dive; while Megan Burns competed in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 200 Free.

Abbey Croce finished her senior year at Buffalo by being the second female diver to compete at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. Croce posted an overall score of 223.85 on the three-meter dive and a score of 242.40 on the one-meter dive. Her score on the one-meter dive landed her in 41st place.

Megan Burns competed in three swimming events at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. She placed in the Top-25 in two of her three events: 50 Free and 100 Free. Burns clocked in at 22.18 in the 50 Free for 23rd place out of 53 swimmers. Burns also placed 23rd in the 100 Free, clocking in at 48.35. Burns also competed in the 200 Free. She clocked in at 1:47.59.
