YORKSHIRE — A 35-year-old Franklinville man was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation following a traffic stop on State Route 16.

According to New York State Police, Troopers stopped John T. McClory for having no license plate lamp. While interviewing McClory, Troopers determined him to be intoxicated and driving with a suspended driver’s license and expired registration. He was transported to SP Machias for processing where he recorded a .13 blood alcohol content.

McClory was released to a third party and is scheduled to appear in Town of Yorkshire Court later this month.
