DALLAS, Texas — The Canisius golf team closed out its first tournament of the spring season on Tuesday, as the team took part in the Bradley Spring Break Invite. Canisius finished sixth in the field with a 54-hole team score of 958.
Junior Mark Lesinski and freshman David Hanes each carded a 76 on Tuesday to lead Canisius. Lesinski finished 16th in the field, while Hanes was tied for 17th. Sophomore John Dantonio carded a final round score of 77. He placed 19th.
Bradley won the two-day event with a team score of 858. Bradley golfer Michael Mounce won the individual honors after he posted three-straight rounds of 71s.
Canisius will return to action April 2-3 at the Coca-Cola Lehigh Valley Invite in Bethlehem, Pa.
