The Canisius golf team opened the 2017 spring season Monday, playing two rounds in the Bradley Spring Break Invite at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, Texas. The Golden Griffins sit in sixth place in the field after the first 36 holes.
Junior Mark Lesinski shot a two-round score of 154, which ties him for 12th in the field. Freshamn David Hanes is tied for 14th after carding a two-round tally of 155, and sophomore John Dantonio sits tied for 20th in the field after he shot 157 in two rounds.
The third and final round of the Bradley Spring Invite is set to tee off Tuesday.
