ALMOND — A New York State Police Trooper stopped to help a 27-year-old Cazenovia woman with a flat tire on Saturday — much to the woman’s chagrin.
While the Trooper was talking to the woman, identified as Charlotte R. Whitney, he determined her to be intoxicated — and subsequently charged her with driving while intoxicated. Whitney was taken to the the Amity Troopers’ barracks and found to have a .17 percent blood alcohol content.
She was released on tickets and is due in Almond Town Court March 20.
