GERRY — A 31-year-old Dunkirk man was charged Thursday with driving while ability impaired by drugs following a report of an erratic driver on Route 60.

According to New York State Police, Troopers observed Michael Braxton vehicle pull into Country Fair. Braxton displayed signs of being impaired and was arrested after failing multiple field sobriety tests. He was transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a State Police Drug Recognition Expert.

Braxton was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the Town of Gerry Court and released.
