CHICAGO – The Niagara University men’s tennis team began its spring break trip with a defeat to the Illinois-Chicago Flames, 7-0, on Thursday.
The Flames earn the doubles points after winning all three matches, including edging the No. 1 team of Francis Nadeau and Taylan Ozdemir. UIC won the six singles matches in straight sets.
Niagara continues its Chicago trip with a pair of matches on Friday against the University of Chicago and Purdue University.
