APPLETON — The Winery at Marjim Manor will present a murder myster, “Lights, Camera, Murder!” at 7 p.m. March 11.

The mystery takes place on the night of the first Oscars. Just North of Olcott, the award winning movie was based on the book by Fitzgerald Scott. After the awards ceremony, the cast and crew came to Hilton Statler’s Hotel for the celebratory dinner. Director Custer Beaton is thrilled to show off his Oscar. Actor Barry Johnmore knew he would win, after all he is the best actor in moviedom today. Actress Gillian Lish is nursing her wounds after her loss.  Also attending are composer Lord Bellington and Screenwriter Lewis Sinclair. Lurking around is gossip columnist Zelda Zoppler. Just as the festivities get started, Fitzgerald Scott is found murdered. Who did him in and why?

Each of the four courses will be paired with various wines, both dry and sweet. After the cast members introduce themselves, guests will have the opportunity to interact with them.
