JAMESTOWN — New York State Police say an early morning traffic stop at 6th and Main streets resulted in the recovery of meth making materials and the arrest of two people.
Records show that Troopers initiated a traffic stop around 1:30 a.m. While interviewing the occupants of the vehicle meth making materials were located. The 26 year old male and the 22 year old female were arrested and are still being processed at SP Jamestown. The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) arrived to remove the dangerous materials from the scene.
Sean D. Barrett, 26 of Dewittville, and Morgan E. Keech, 22 of Stockton, were charged following the incident. Their charged included third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to NYSP.
