Ed served in the U.S. Army during WWII and worked at Sweet Home Central School as a Math Teacher, retiring in 1988. Ed enjoyed hiking, farming and was a past Scout Master of Troop 67 in Wilson, NY. He was an active member of St.Bridget’s Church for many years.
Father of Patricia Mitalski of Wilson, NY, Robert Mitalski of Cape Canaveral, FL, Katherine (Robert Douglas) Mitalski of Lyndhurst, VA, William (Bridget) Mitalski of Littleton, CO, Thomas (Angela) Mitalski of Blairville, GA and Christina (Scott) Fraser of Sterling, VA. Brother Jine Monachino of Kansas. Also survived by 5 grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11 AM in St. Brendan on the lake (Newfane site). Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
