
OLEAN — The Niagara men’s tennis team was defeated by the Binghamton Bearcats, 7-0, on Saturday at the SBU Indoor Courts.
The Purple Eagles lost the doubles point, falling in No. 1 and 3 doubles by a 6-3 score.
NU had a couple of close matches in singles. Brent Boleslav was edged in six singles, 6-4, 6-3. Francis Nadeau and Lukas Wenninger each fell by identical scores of 6-3, 6-2, in two and five singles, respectively.
Niagara will face Wright State at noon Friday at the Village Glen Tennis Club in Williamsville.
