Local students named to Dean’s List at Grove City College

The honorees include:

• Samantha Wach, a senior Accounting major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester. Samantha is a 2012 graduate of Springville Griffith High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffry Wach (Carrieann) from Boston.
• Rachel Berry, a senior Biology major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Rachel is a 2013 graduate of Clarence High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Berry (Bonny) from Clarence Center.
• Rachel Metz, a senior PreK-4 Elementary Education major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Rachel is a 2013 graduate of Iroquois Central High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Metz (Debra) from East Aurora.
• Kassaundra Funch, a junior Music Education major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Kassaundra is a 2014 graduate of Eden Junior Senior High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Funch (Elaine) from Eden.
• Laura Harms, a junior Marketing Management major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Laura is a 2014 graduate of Eden Junior Senior High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Harms (Catharine) from Eden.
• Emily Tharnish, a senior Chemistry major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Emily is a 2013 graduate of Iroquois Central High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tharnish (Miriam) from Elma.
• David Sheets, a freshman Electrical Engineering major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. David is a 2016 graduate of Williamsville HS North and is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Richard Sheets (Beth) from Getzville.
• Renee Copperthite, a junior PreK-8 Special Education major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Renee is a 2014 graduate of Lockport High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Copperthite (Dawn) from Lockport.
• Bri Stabler, a freshman Spanish major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Bri is a 2016 graduate of Amherst Christian Academy and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Stabler (Johnna) from Lockport.
• Amanda Lunden, a freshman PreK-4 Elementary Education major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester. Amanda is a 2016 graduate of Medina High School and is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Lunden (Kimberly) from Middleport.
• Emily Geiger, a freshman International Business major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester. Emily is a 2016 graduate of Orchard Park High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Geiger (Laura) from Orchard Park.
• Alison O’Hearn, a senior Biology major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Alison is a 2013 graduate of Charles C. Amico High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marc O’Hearn (Wendy) from Albion.
• Emily Paszko, a sophomore Accounting major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Emily is a 2015 graduate of Allendale Columbia School and is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Henry Paszko (Beth) from Churchville.

• Esther Reem, a sophomore PreK-8 Special Education major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Esther is a 2015 graduate of Home School and is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Reem (Barbara) from Hilton.

• Rachel Carbone, a senior Middle Level Science/Math major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Rachel is a 2013 graduate of Greece Athena High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Carbone (Kate) from Rochester.
• Justin Dueker, a senior Accounting major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Justin is a 2013 graduate of Greece Arcadia High School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Dueker (JoAnn) from Rochester.

• Ellen Lockwood, a freshman PreK-8 Special Education major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester. Ellen is a 2016 graduate of Maple Grove Junior Senior High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Lockwood (Tammy) from Jamestown.
• Zachary Smith, a freshman Undeclared – Liberal Arts major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Zachary is a 2016 graduate of Falconer Central School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith (Holly) from Jamestown.
• Garth Murray, a senior Computer Science major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester. Garth is a 2009 graduate of Home School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Murray (Lynn) from Angelica.
• Hannah Derwick, a senior Biochemistry major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Hannah is a 2013 graduate of Olean High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Derwick (Paula) from Olean.
• Alexandria Bailey, a freshman Entrepreneurship major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2016 semester. Alexandria is a 2016 graduate of Panama Central School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Bailey (Debbra) from Sinclairville.
