GRAND ISLAND — United States Border Patrol arrested nine people it believed to be illegal immigrants this afternoon.
Officials say that at least one of those detained has a criminal record.
Agents say the group ran into a retail store during a traffic stop. A spokesman says more will be released Thursday.
On Monday, 23 people were arrested by Border Patrol agents in Hamburg.
