EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) released its men’s golf preseason coaches’ poll on Tuesday. Niagara received 27 points and was selected to finish eighth.
The team completed the fall portion of its schedule in October 2016. The Purple Eagles competed in the Navy Fall Classic, the Little 3 Championship and the Binghamton Invitational, as well as winning a match with crosstown rival Canisius.
The Purple Eagles will begin their spring schedule at the Lafayette Invitational in Hellertown, Pa. April 1-3 and will conclude the season at the MAAC Championships, which will be held April 20-23 at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
