
BUFFALO — The University at Buffalo’s cross country team was honored by the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their work in the classroom. Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams were honored for their academics.
As a program, the men’s team finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.24 and were one of 122 teams honored, while the women’s program had a cumulative GPA of 3.16. The teams were named alongside other high-academic schools such as Harvard, Cornell, and other Ivy League schools.
In order for a team to be named All-Academic by the USTFCCA, it must finished with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
