HANOVER — A 21-year-old Amherst man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 5/20 earlier this month.
According to a New York State Police report issued this morning, Nigel L. Flint was a passenger in a car that was stopped for an expired inspection sticker. While interviewing the driver, Troopers detected the odor of marijuana and determined that Flint was in possession of approximately 5.88 grams of marijuana.
He was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Hanover Court on Feb. 23.
