The Niagara University women’s tennis team will host the Detroit Titans on Thursday for its first home match of the season at Noon from the South Towns Tennis Club.

The Purple Eagles are 1-2 on the season and are in search of their first win of the spring season with defeats to Youngstown State and Akron. Stella Peisakhova leads the team in singles wins with five.

Detroit is 2-2 on the season including winning its last two matches (Toledo and Northwestern Ohio). Nynke Van Der Goot has a team-best 7-2 overall record in singles, while doubles partner Iris Thioux are a team-best 3-1.
