SCIO — A 35-year-old Wellsville women was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment and giving a false written statement following an incident Jan. 29 at Mahoney Ridge Bar.
New York State Police say Troopers responded to the bar on Jan. 29 for a report of two women fighting. Tonya Armstrong confronted an employee of the bar and engaged in a physical altercation. She then provided a written statement to Troopers about the altercation, which security camera footage directly contradicted.
Armstrong was processed at SP Amity and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Scio court for later this month.
