BUFFALO — Buffalo State’s Alumni Association will be hosting an Alumni Night this Friday, capped by an athletics’ SUNYAC tripleheader at the Sports and Ice Arena.

Men’s and women’s basketball take on Cortland in a doubleheader, starting with the men at 5:30 p.m. and the women at 7:30 p.m. in the Sports Arena.  Men’s hockey will be just across the hall, hosting Brockport at 7 p.m. in the Ice Arena.

Men’s hockey (15-5-1, 7-4-1) is looking to set the single-season record for wins in a season against the Golden Eagles.  The Bengals are currently ranked No. 12 in Division III.

Men’s basketball (14-7, 8-7) enters the weekend in fifth place in the conference, holding a two-game edge with three games to go over the seventh and eighth place teams still fighting for the post season.

In addition, the Buffalo State women’s soccer team will be honored during halftime of the men’s basketball game for its record-setting season with the unveiling of the SUNYAC Championship and NCAA playoff banners in the rafters of the Sports Arena.

Food, soft drinks and water, face painting, and games will be available in the foyer of the second floor of the Sports Arena before the action from 5-7:30 p.m.

The cost is $3 per person in advance or $5 at the door (cash only); Children under age 12 are free.  The price includes admission to all three Buffalo State games, food, soft drinks and water and face painting/games.

Presale online registration is due today by 5 p.m.
