BEMUS POINT — A 26-year-old Ohio man was charged Saturday with DWI and drug possession following a traffic stop on I-86.

According to New York State Police, Thomas Lawhorn was stopped for speeding and determined to be intoxicated.  Hash oil and marijuana cigarettes were located during a K-9 search of Lawhorn’s vehicle, resulting in seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana charges in addition to the DWI.

Lawhorn was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the Town of Busti Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
