BUFFALO — The University at Buffalo has named Emma Siuciak and Joshua Gali as its Athletes of the Week.
Siuciak was a driving force for the Bulls at the Akron Invitational. Siuciak broke the school record in the Pentathlon by nearly 100 points with a score of 3855. Her score placed her second overall at the competition. This score is also currently ranked 25th in the country and secon din the Mid-American Conference. Siuciak also hit a new personal best mark in the 60H. Her time of 8.81 is currently ranked second in the Mid-American Conference in the event.
Gali had an outstanding performance this past weekend for the Bulls. His time of 21.25 in the 200m not only placed him first at the competition, but it broke the school record for Buffalo which had stood for ten years. His time is currently ranked first in the Mid-American Conference, and was a MAC Auto-qualifying mark as well.
