NEW PALTZ — New Paltz forced 33 Buffalo State turnovers and cruised to a 90-55 victory in a SUNYAC contest today at the Hawk Center.

Caleh McLean (New Rochelle/New Rochelle) led Buffalo State with 14 points. Princella McCullough (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) was the only other Bengal scorer in double-figures with 12 points. New Paltz led 16-13 after the first quarter and pulled away, netting 54 points over the next two quarters to put the game out of reach. The Hawks netted 37 points off of Buffalo State turnovers and shot 49 percent from the field for the game.  They also hit 12 3-pointers, outscoring Buffalo State 36-12 from beyond the arc.
                                                                                               
Buffalo State will host Cortland next Friday at 7:30 p.m.
