Michael J. Whitte, of Lockport, NY, passed away peacefully February 2, 2017 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Born in Jacksonville, FL he is the son of Wesley H. Whitte and the late Joan (Housman) Whitte. Michael was an Air Technician with the 107th Air Guard at the Niagara Falls Air Base. He was an enthusiast of outdoors enjoying fishing and hunting. His hobbies were racing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his father Michael is also survived by his children Jason (Brandy Freeman) Whitte and Kelly (Daniel) Drake; grandfather of eight; brother of William (Barbara) Whitte, John (Barbara) Whitte, and Kathryn (William) Youngs; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Feb. 11th at 10 AM in St. John The Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
