Nikari Carota was a driving force for the Bulls. Carota took first place in the 60HH finals with a time of 8.73, a new personal record for the Bull. Her teammates Juliana Basla, Hannah Seiders, Sydney Bova, and Sylvia Russell also had an impressive showing at the competition. The four were able to work together to run to a third place finish in the distance medley with a time of 12:20.27.
Basla also set a new personal record in the 3000m, clocking in at 10:11.37 with a seventh place finish. Not far behind her was teammate Meghan LaTuso who also clocked in a new personal record at 10:19. Also from the distance medley team, Russell ran to a fifth place finish in the mile, clocking in at 5:06.06. Rachel Barich, a sophomore for the Bulls, ran to a fourth place finish in the 5000m, clocking in at 17:57.83, with teammate Charlotte Molloy coming in fifth at 17:58.11. Lauren Reyda also competed in the race; clocking in at 18:22.61 for a ninth place finish.
Alex Siracusa did well for the Bulls in the field events. He jumped to a fourth place finish in the long jump with a distance of 6.71m.
The Bulls will be back in action next weekend as they travel to Akron, OH for the Akron Invitational.
