Six more restaurants were added by Western New Yorkers on Monday as nominees to the WNY’s Best Pizza category in the All WNY Awards.
Adding the new nominees to the 18 from Sunday makes for a total of 24 nominees with five days still remaining in the nomination process.
The newly added nominees are:
- Pizza Amore on Grand Island
- Good Guys in North Tonawanda
- Wise Guys Pizza in South Buffalo
- Ginos Pizza in Tonawanda
- Chop’s Shop Pizzeria in Gasport
- Carbone’s Pizza & Subs in South Buffalo
Nominees from the first day included:
- Imperial Pizza in Buffalo
- Leonardi’s Pizza in Amherst
- Pizza Oven in Lockport
- Lock City Pizza in Lockport
- Molinaros Ristorante in Lockport
- Mr. Pizza in Buffalo
- Avanti Pizza and Grill in Medina
- Wilson’s Pizza Shop in Newfane
- Great Lakes Pizza Co. in West Seneca
- Bella Pizza (multiple locations)
- Metro Pizza in Buffalo
- Allentown Pizza in Buffalo
- Tonys Pizza in Buffalo
- Buzzy’s Pizza in Niagara Falls
- Daddio’s Pizza in Buffalo
- Caforas Pizza and Pastaria in Newfane
- La Hacienda of New York in Niagara Falls
Nominations can be made in a variety of ways, including the form on this post, via a comment on this Facebook post, and via Twitter with the tag #AllWNYPizza. More than one nomination per person is allowed. We’ll collect nominations through 11:59 p.m. Saturday and begin voting on Sunday.
