NIAGARA FALLS — A 32-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Pine Avenue.

According to New York State Police, Robert Magaris, Jr. was stopped for not having a license plate on his vehicle. He was determined to be intoxicated and later found to have a .22 percent blood alcohol content.

Magaris was processed and issued appearance tickets returnable in the City of Niagara Falls court.

A passenger in the vehicle with Magaris, 33-year-old Jeffrey Frazier of Niagara Falls, was also arrested when it was discovered that he had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Mobile County, Alabama, for a probation violation stemming from a first-degree robbery charge.
