NIAGARA FALLS — A 41-year-old Grand Island man was charged with DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana and a traffic violation on Wednesday following a crash on the I-190 south.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to the three vehicle collision, where they found that Justin C. Rebon, operating a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse from the LaSalle Expressway merged onto the I-190 failing to yield to a 2007 Kenworth. The operator of the Kenworth attempted to evade collision with Rebon and struck a 2011 Ford which caused the Ford to overturn.

Further investigation revealed Rebon was under the influence. He was transported to SP Niagara for processing and refused the breath test. He was then issued appearance tickets returnable to the City of Niagara Falls.
