TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 22-year-old Amherst woman was charged Saturday with driving a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana following a disturbance call.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a report of a male and female arguing outside an apartment building complex. When they arrived, they located the two individuals in a Chevy Equinox in the rear parking lot of the complex. The investigation revealed Lucile C. Lilienthal had been operating the motor vehicle where a strong odor of marijuana was emanating from. She was administered and failed field sobriety tests. She was also found in possession of several marijuana smoking pipes. She was placed under arrest and transported to SP Lockport for processing.
She was arraigned in the town of Lockport Court and was released on her own recognizance.
