BELMONT — A 21-year-old Friendship man is facing charges of third-degree trespassing, resisting arrest and second-degree obstruction of government administration.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a fight in progress. Upon arrival of patrols, Coty Denning attempted to flee on foot and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.  He was transported to SP Amity for processing and was charged. He was arraigned before the Town of Friendship Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.

He is scheduled to reappear before the Village of Belmont Court on Jan. 25.
