ALDEN — The Alden School District is asking parents to pick up their children at the school — with photo identification — due to an ongoing police matter in the vicinity.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office and Alden Police are looking for an assault suspect in the area of Broadway and Townline roads. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s wearing a gray hoodie and black hat.
The sheriff’s office has set up a command post at Town Line Presbyterian Church.
