Vance F. Taylor Of Newfane, NY husband of Helen Smith Taylor entered into rest on Saturday January 14, 2017 at home. He was born in Newfane on July 26, 1921, the son of the late Elwood and Laura Taylor.
Vance served in the U.S. Army from 1942- 1945. He was owner and operator of Taylor Hardware in Ridgewood, NY for 50 years. Vance was a member of Ridgewood Bible Church an loved tinkering, cutting wood, working and reading.
Father of Roger (Karon) Taylor of Newfane, NY, Edwin (Betty) Taylor of Gasport, NY, Loren (Susan) Taylor of Morgantown, PA, Terry (Jamie) Taylor of Ridgewood, NY and James (Patty) Taylor of Newfane, NY. Brother of the late Duane Taylor and Mary Kneeland. Also survived by 27 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Eric Taylor.

A memorial service will be held on SATURDAY January 21, 2017 at 11AM in Ridgewood Bible Church 7073 Ridge Rd. Lockport, NY 14094.
