BUFFALO — Fourty-five-year-old Tirson Perez of Buffalo was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Niagara Street.

According to New York State Police, Tirson was stopped for speeding and determined to be intoxicated. He was transported to State Police Clarence and processed, providing a breath sample of .14 percent blood alcohol content.

Perez was released with a return court date in the City of Buffalo.
