Marie A. Morse passed away January 9, 2017. Born in Lockport August 14, 1927 she was the daughter of Nicholas and Lena (Gervaise) Casalinuovo. Marie was a graduate from Lockport High School class of 1945 and also graduated from St. Joseph’s Business School earning her degree in Secretarial – Accounting. She worked for Niagara County Department of Social Services retiring in the 1980’s. Marie also worked as a cook in several restaurants including the Lockport Town & Country Club, and the Copper Penny. She also was the accountant for Montgomery Ward.
Marie is survived by her children Mark A. Morse, Wayne C. (Darlene) Morse, Susan M. (Tony) Weiss, Loretta Morse, Diane Morse, John (Julie) Morse, and Paul (Kayo) Morse; grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 18; sister of Ronald (Barbara) Casalinuovo, and the late Nicholas (Gerry) & Anthony (Shirley) Casalinuovo.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Jan. 15th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where a service will be held Monday, Jan. 16th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Team Mason would be appreciated by the family.
