Lonnie J. Covington passed away January 8, 2017 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Bude, MS December 6, 1951 he was the son of Elijah and Alice (Shell) Covington.
Lonnie worked for Akzo-Nobel where he was a laborer. He enjoyed playing softball, chess, and listening to music.
Lonnie is survived by his girlfriend Sheila Sparks; father of Kenecia Covington, Beverly (Ryan) King, Nicklas (Tiffany) Barber, Angel (Dean) Barber, and Kelly (Shawn) Thomas; grandfather of six; also survived by a host of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
