ROYALTON — A 26-year-old Bath man was charged Tuesday with third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle and for a parole violation.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a complaint that Andrew S. Crosson failed to return a vehicle he borrowed from an acquaintance on Oct. 12. Crosson agreed to return the vehicle the following day but he failed to do so as promised.  He kept the vehicle for approximately two months.

Further investigation revealed Crosson was in violation of his parole. He was later located on a warrant, placed under arrest and transported to SP Lockport for processing.

Crosson was arraigned in the Town of Royalton Court and remanded to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash/$15,000 bond.  He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Royalton Court at a later date.
