Doris Lutz passed away December 25, 2016 in Odd Fellows & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born in Lockport November 28, 1928 she was the daughter of William and Julia (Fanning) Long. Doris worked for Niagara County Department of Social Services where she was a Social Welfare Examiner. She enjoyed gardening, loved her cats and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by her husband Thomas Henry Lutz.
Doris is survived by her children Michael (Cheryl) Lutz, Thomas (Rosemary) Lutz, William (Kim) Lutz, and Paula (William) Hurley; grandchildren Margaret (Declan) Thomas, Meghan and Patrick Lutz, Molly (Paul) Mayers, Joshua (Allison) Hurley, Jennifer (Russell) Lagler, Brian, Jason (Tricia) and Heather Lutz. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass on Monday, January 2nd at 1 PM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport. Memorial donations to the Niagara County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
