NEWFANE — A 52-year-old Burt man was charged Saturday with third-degree assault following a domestic incident.
According to New York State Police. Troopers were dispatched to a report of a physical domestic at a North Transit Road residence, where investigation revealed Glenn L. Fariss struck the complainant in the left eye with his head causing swelling and bleeding.
Farris was arrested and taken to SP Lockport for processing then arraigned in the Town of Newfane Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled for a reappearance in the Town of Newfane Court at a later date.
