PENDLETON — A 67-year-old Lockport man was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Bear Ridge Road. 

According to New York State Police, Stuart Caswell was stopped on Bear Ridge Road in the Town of Pendleton for failing to stay in his lane. He was determined to be intoxicated and then found to have a .12 percent blood alcohol content after being taken to the Lockport Troopers barracks. He was also found to have a small quantity of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe. 
Caswell was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Lockport Court where he is scheduled to appear at a later date.
