Imogene G. Heiser went into rest on Dec. 15, 2016 daughter of Joseph and Ethel Bateman.
Beloved mother of Annette (Garry) Graham, Sant Singh (Sant Kaur) Khalsa, Patricia Belliveau, and Scott Heiser. Sister of Paul (Del) Bateman and Marjorie McKee. Survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and five siblings.
Imogene was a life-long resident of Middleport and loved to attend events at the various senior citizen groups throughout the area. She was a strong woman who raised four children on her own. Imogene loved the Lord and enjoyed fellowship at several of the local churches over the years. She greatly enjoyed travel, not only throughout the United States, but also in Europe as well as Australia. She was faithful in supporting many charities, right up to her last days.
The family will be present on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at the Bates Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street Middleport, to receive friends, where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM, officiated by the Rev. David Ashby of Middleport Fundamental Baptist Church.
