TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 28-year-old Lockport man was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Snyder Drive.

According to New York State Police, Shane W. Sullivan was stopped for driving across the hazard markings and failure to keep right. 

Troopers determined him to be intoxicated and placed him under arrest before taking him to the Lockport Troopers’ barracks and conducting a breath test, which showed a .11 percent blood alcohol content. 

He was processed and issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Lockport Court where he is scheduled to appear at a later date.
