RICHBURG — A 47-year-old Bolivar man was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on State Route 275.

According to New York State Police, John H. Fisk was stopped after a License Plate Reader indicated the vehicle’s registration was suspended. While interviewing Fisk, Troopers determined him to be intoxicated. A blood alcohol test conducted at the Amity Troopers’ barracks found that he had a content of .11 percent.

In addition to DWI, Fish was also cited for operating without insurance before being released on tickets and is scheduled to appear before the Town of Wirt Court on Wednesday.
